I first met Ricardo years ago when I took his BYU graduation photos. We lost touch until last year when, during a trip to NYC for Fashion Week and a wedding meeting, I needed a place to stay. Ricardo kindly offered his home, and we reconnected, chatting about life, work, and his then-girlfriend—who he hinted I might photograph one day.

Fast forward to his Santorini proposal (yes, Santorini!), and he reached out for engagement photos in NYC. We spent a half day exploring iconic spots—starting at sunrise in Dumbo, then Brooklyn Bridge, and finishing at Bethesda Terrace in Central Park.

This session wasn’t just about photos—it was an experience. The day before, we went shopping, styled outfits, and built trust. More than a shoot, it was about storytelling, connection, and making them feel truly themselves.
